The lack of well-organized charts and photos makes this title a much less friendly resource than health reference classics such as the American Dietetic Association Complete Food and Nutrition Guide (Wiley, 4th ed., 2012) or the Merck Manual of Medical Information Home Edition (Pocket Books, 2d ed., 2004). These short clips of surface-level information are unsatisfying.
A reference work with significant shortcomings. Other books such as Tamsen Butler's The Complete Guide to Personal Finance: For Teenagers provide better resources, a fun tone, and context that is more relevant to this age group.
