Immortal Rising

Turned against her will as a teenager, Stephanie McGill relies on the famous and immortal Argeneau family to help keep her safe and sane. Her singular abilities forced her to seek solitude in the remote Canadian wilderness, while occasionally using her gifts to help keep their kind safe. The walls of her self-imposed prison are beginning to crumble, however, and Stephanie questions how long she can survive. That is, until the arrival of a stranger brings her a reprieve. Seeking his own refuge away from those who would take issue with his physical appearance and complicated genetics, Thorne soon realizes that his difficult past is not an issue for the quirky Stephanie. Drawn together by magnetism and a little bit of fate, Thorne and Stephanie begin to build a relationship. But they are soon forced to defend their safe haven and their unique traits against the man who tortured Thorne and seeks to use Stephanie’s abilities for his own nefarious gains.
