The crew of You Sexy Thing is running low on supplies, funds, and luck. They decide to head to Coralind Station, a place of exotic gardens famed for culinary and personal delights, where they may be able to acquire the items they need and get the rest they deserve. Niko is hoping to withdraw the insurance payout (from the destruction of their restaurant) from the bank, and an old friend who runs the station may be able to help. Meanwhile, Niko must deal with her former lover Petalia’s continued antagonism, along with the (usually) unrequited flirtations of Jezli. Dabry finds that his dead daughter may not be as dead as he thinks, Skidoo fears that her modifications haven’t changed her fate, Atlanta works on her new paladin status, and Talon and his brother’s clone continue to deal with the fallout of their non-relationship. Add in that their enemy, Tubal Last, has clones running around the universe, and no one on the crew will actually get a break.
