Flockton, Nicole

This story makes it difficult to root for the characters to achieve their happily ever after, and readers might have a difficult time understanding why (beyond the physical chemistry) they are attracted to each other in the first place. This one wants to hit all the right notes, but it doesn’t quite get there.

Flockton (Christmas in Ghost Gum Springs) does an excellent job exploring the aftermath of a heartbreaking accident but does not feature Ethan's canine partner as much as the series title would suggest. This story will appeal to readers who enjoy stories with a strong military service ethic.
