Fans of the author’s books will absolutely not want to miss this one. This sweetly angsty novel about two people finding themselves and figuring out a way forward together will appeal to anyone who enjoys reading opposites-attract romances with found family subplots.
A uniquely different take on historical romance with lots of adventure that runs parallel with the first title and will be even more delightful when read in order.
Recommended for fans of inclusive narratives, historical romances (especially ones set in Georgian London), the friends-to-lovers trope, and the author’s other works.
Despite some pacing issues (a rather slow beginning and a hurried, action-packed end), readers will still enjoy the tussles between the high-class Percy and the Robin Hood–like Kit.
With this life-affirming final act to the trilogy (It Takes Two To Tumble; A Gentleman Never Keeps Score), Sebastian delivers a fiercely joyous tale of two people fighting to give each other a home and learning to love well.
Sebastian crafts another enormously fun, sexy romp that is also touching, with two heroines who make each other better together than they were alone. This latest entry in the “Turner” series (after The Ruin of a Rake) stands on its own and will make readers wish for more about the winsome duo. Highly recommended.
Sebastian (It Takes Two To Tumble) provides fans with another original read full of hints that the story of Alistair and Robin is not over yet. What will she wear?
Sebastian (The Ruin of a Rake) provides yet another sizzling romance with a robust plot that transcends time and setting. She has created a family readers will want to get to know better. [Previewed in Joyce Sparrow's "Love Is All Around," LJ 10/15/17.]
