In this three-week online course, you will develop a deep understanding of trauma-informed practices and how to apply them for patrons, staff, students, colleagues and yourself. This course will explore trauma-informed librarianship in both internal and external contexts. You’ll learn how to engage with and support patrons affected by trauma while also taking care of yourself and setting healthy workplace boundaries. You’ll also learn how to contribute to a trauma-informed work culture.

Join us online and gain the knowledge and tools needed to create a library environment that fosters healing, resilience, and empowerment.

The live sessions run on Wednesdays, Apr. 16, 23 and 30, from 2:00-3:45 pm ET (recordings available) with an ongoing facilitator-led workshop over 3 weeks. Don’t miss this opportunity!
