A Wanton for All Seasons

After the terrifying events of the Peterloo Massacre, Annalee Spencer lives life to the fullest, but her life has become a series of scandals. With pressure from her family and now co-leading the Mismatch Society, a freethinking ladies’ club, she must correct her improper conduct. Wayland Smith, who was also at Peterloo, is granted a peerage for saving a duke’s daughter that day. Now styled the Baron of Darlington, Wayland strictly follows aristocracy’s rules. When Annalee proposes to court Wayland to improve her standing in society, Wayland agrees because he was the reason Annalee was at Peterloo. As their courtship progresses, things do not go according to plan, and Wayland must decide if Annalee is more important than his stellar reputation.
