There is no end to the troubles that seem to follow Alainn O'Brien as she struggles to prove her worth to the gods. Trapped in England, she must figure out how to get everyone back to Ireland without giving in to King Henry VIII's desire or letting him know her connection to the Irishman in his tower. Even after escape, there is much to do back home. A sickness is creeping across Ireland, and it needs Alainn to lead the healing with her protector Danhoul. Through it all, the demon, his coven of witches, and other supernatural beings do their best to disturb even the best-laid plans.
VERDICT While this episode of the saga undoubtedly will appeal to fans of the series (A Witch's Life), it feels like a travelog of the time period, with little payoff for new readers.
