The reality TV show All This and More uses quantum bubble technology that allows contestants the opportunity to revisit and change their past. Over the course of 10 episodes, contestants can perfect their lives. They can repair marriages or erase them, change careers, travel, or become wealthy by making different decisions at critical junctures. The show’s first season has four billion watchers, but the second season is mysteriously cancelled midway through. Marsh is shocked when she is selected as the contestant for season three. The changes she makes affect the lives of those around her without their approval or permission, and she becomes suspicious when the same butterfly, briefcase, and man named Ren appear in every scenario. It seems that someone has tampered with the bubble. Shepherd’s choose-your-own-adventure novel allows readers to select one option at the end of each episode. Each option leads to a different scenario, creating a unique story for every reader. The mechanics of following the story are almost as interesting as the story itself.
