Max Van Doren is the assistant to a top Hollywood talent agent, and by all accounts, she’s great at her job. However, she lacks the \confidence to ask her boss for a promotion. Meanwhile, instead of having a steady girlfriend, she’s stuck lusting after bartender Sadie and is too afraid to ask her out. When Max’s influencer roommate Chelsey agrees to sponsor an app focused on self-actualization, Max thinks the algorithm may help. Soon, she’s making big changes in her life, including deepening her connection to Sadie. When one of Chelsey’s posts suggests that Sadie might have ulterior motives for getting involved with Max, Max begins questioning everything she thought was true. Can she find a way to live her life authentically and get over the impending heartbreak?
