Pretty, single, and dependable realtor Carly Andrews finds her Bar Harbor, ME, life turned all around by rich golden boy Adam Noble when he asks her to find him the perfect house. Narrator Pamela Tomassetti, not as familiar to listeners as some others, gives Carly's parrot a great cackling voice and does well with the male characters but seems a bit old for the 23-year-old protagonist.
VERDICT Despite some flaws, this audio version should please Michaels's fans, who will welcome one more of her classic "kisses and yearnings"-type of romance.
