Crave

Out of nowhere, a mysterious app called Crave appears on the cell phone of every student at a prestigious university. The only information available to users is a message reading, “Tell us what you Crave! Follow our instructions, and we’ll make it happen!” The app won’t accept any request it deems as having less than a 10 percent chance of being successfully fulfilled, so a user who requests that someone else fall in love with them is out of luck. The app proves extremely adept, however, at arranging liaisons between users harboring mutual crushes on one another, or else just in search of a compatible hookup. Within just a few days, it’s hard to find a single spot on campus unoccupied by either a couple enthusiastically engaging in public displays of heavy affection or by lone souls suffering from the sting of rejection or crushing heartbreak. When some of those poor lonely-hearts begin using the app to seek vengeance, a handful of students band together to discover how to stop the app before any of their fellow students’ lives are ruined—or brought to an end.
