For the most part, Baylon relishes his position as part of Cael's team of Reapers. He exacts Death's justice on Dark Fae, never questioning orders. That is, until Cael tells him that they must start killing any humans they come across with Fae blood. While trying to decide whether to carry out orders or pay the consequences, Baylon meets Jordyn and is immediately taken with her, despite knowing her Fae blood might doom her. They find each other irresistible and fall quickly despite knowing that it could cost them both their lives. Now Baylon just has to keep Jordyn safe from the Reapers and Dark Fae who are trying to kill her and just maybe find out why she is being hunted in the first place.
VERDICT Grant (Passion Ignites) keeps the action coming in this page-turner. A great addition for any library hoping to spice up the fantasy section.
