Eight Kinky Nights

While the title implies a story that is primarily kink-driven erotica, this book is actually about building layers into an established relationship, working through personal trauma, and learning to rely more on others. Jordan is fresh out of a decades-long vanilla marriage in which her needs were not being met. She moves in with her best friend Leah, who has spent the past decades immersed in New York’s kink culture. When Jordan expresses an interest in learning more, Leah offers her eight lessons on D/s play, one for each night of Chanukah. Jordan agrees, but as their lessons progress, feelings they aren’t prepared for arise. Jordan doesn’t want to lose herself in another relationship after her marriage, and Leah is still dealing with the effects of a former partner’s rejection. They are also both working through creating and developing bonds with others as both are polyamorous. They will have to renegotiate their relationship with each other and others during what is a busy and sometimes stressful time of year. The book contains a helpful content/trigger warning section at the beginning, as well as information about terminology and pronouns used by the trans and nonbinary characters.
