Isabel Suarez, design manager at PI Games in Tampa, is the consummate professional, never mixing business with pleasure. All of that changes when she attends DiceCon, a national convention for gamers held in Boston. She is challenged by a coworker to let loose and take part in a risqué, point-based scavenger hunt over the long weekend. It has been years since she let her wild side out, and this is a game she yearns to win. When Isabel bumps into Caleb Portland, an artist and animator volunteering to work security at the convention, the attraction is instantaneous. What begins as a casual, erotic weekend, though, soon ends in resentment. Caleb, whose feelings have grown beyond a one-night stand, is devastated when he discovers he was a pawn in Isabel's game. When Isabel returns to Florida, her sense of betrayal is palpable when she realizes the man she left behind will soon be her new partner at work.
