When Saron Blakefield, Duke of Draloch, pulls up to his newly won property, Harleigh Hall, he is met by a young woman aiming a hunting rifle at his chest. Lady Anabelle Harleigh has been trying to negotiate her estate back from the duke. Little does she know that he has arrived with a letter awarding him not only the estate but also guardianship of Anabelle and her brother.
