Best known for her controversial five seasons on the reality TV series Selling Sunset, model/actress/real estate agent Quinn shares her wisdom (“money is power”), relationship advice (“never settle for just being comfortable”) and tips on self-motivating (“manifest your destiny”) in this fast-paced guide designed to help women get what they want and “own their power.” Unapologetic and comfortable in her own skin, Quinn encourages developing one’s own style (hers is “dominatrix Barbie”) and utilizing such techniques as journaling, visualization, and creating vision boards to achieve success. Simplistic and at times superficial, the book’s financial advice reads like a magazine article—never pay retail, learn how to save, there’s nothing wrong with a sugar daddy—and Quinn’s self-promotion can be vexatious. However, she is at her best when sharing the personal stories that shaped her passion and drive: from a childhood marred by a strict upbringing and her mother’s illnesses, to constantly feeling like an outsider, her poor performance at school, and her moving confession that she never graduated.
