But FBI special agent Grace Malone is not there to enjoy the aforementioned—she’s there to solve a case. The Mystic Lake Crossbow Killer, or possibly a copycat killer, is active again, and it’s up to her to solve the mystery. The top suspect on her list is Aidan O’Brien, who served time for the death of his wife. However, he still claims his innocence and tries to convince Grace that he was set up. With the Mystic Lake Police Department focusing their efforts on Aidan, Grace decides to work outside the box and explore other options. As she works more closely with Aidan, she can’t help but develop romantic feelings for him.
VERDICT Fans of Nicholas Sparks and Barb Han will want to check out this new series.
