Piper Daniels leaves her hometown three days after being dumped in the hopes that a new city will bring a fresh start. Though Piper may seem a bit exaggerated in her reclusiveness, especially compared to polar opposite Hailey, the sisters have a delightfully snappy rapport. Piper's social caution and residual hurt will prove relatable to readers, and her disbelief at the (admittedly unbelievable) coincidence of working for her one-night stand is amusing, as is her preternatural ability to organize uptight Jackson's hectic professional life. Ryan's (Tempting Little Tease) playful prose will have readers flying through the pages to see how Piper and Jackson's scorchingly sexy high jinks are resolved.
