My Murder

Lou seems to have it all—an adorable toddler and a good marriage with a doting husband. But Lou is also the unlucky victim of a serial killer. Then, thanks to a government program, Lou is revived as a clone and returned to her idyllic life. When Lou realizes there are many odd things about her murder, she sets out to speak with her killer and discover the circumstances around her death. A secretive government program, a support group for victims, and a motley cast of characters fill this novel not only with murder but with humor as well. Narrator Rebecca Lowman captures the many facets of Williams’s (Tell the Machine Goodnight) twist-filled tale and provides an especially believable portrait of Lou, a woman on a mission. Listeners will be surprised and delighted by the ending, which is a refreshing take on a crime novel.
