When Preload went on its first tour, Nikan broke Jenny's heart. In addition to the trauma Nik experienced directly, Cole also explores intergenerational pain, looking at Nik's Lower Cayuga, Turtle Clan, heritage and the lingering effects of Canada's residential schools.
