Once Loved

Despite the deadly shadows left behind by her violent father, college student Lety Tres Santos is determined to make her life count. But classwork, lab time, RA responsibilities, sports, and feelings for her ex-boyfriend Brody present a daily balancing act. When her father is released from jail and her scholarship is suddenly revoked, Lety finds herself turning to athletically built, charmingly witty, amazingly compassionate Brody for support. But those lingering shadows from childhood inhibit her ability to trust anyone, particularly Brody. With her terrifying past and Brody's significant family wealth, Lety knows they have nothing upon which to build a future.
