Pretending He's Mine

Sosa second book in her "Love on Cue" series (after Acting on Impulse) unfolds with alternating viewpoints from the heroine and hero (introduced in the previous title), allowing the reader a unique perspective. Ashley Williamson, the perceived flighty younger sister of film star Carter Williamson, needs a place to stay after an unfortunate roommate incident, and reliable good friend and Carter's agent Julian Hart opens his spare room to her. Both Ashley and Julian are complex individuals, with interesting backstories, but the will they/won't they begin a relationship takes up a good amount of the story. Along with forced proximity, a fake engagement and some serious family expectations for the way both Ashley and Julian should be living their lives lead to a satisfying ending for both characters outside of the inevitable romance.
