Rescuing the Receiver

Even though the performance-enhancing drugs were not banned when he took them, it's time for Chris Lalonde to clean up his image. Being the wide receiver for the Colorado Blizzards means taking responsibility; remedying the situation is not an easy task for a guy who thinks only about himself. His boss says he has to work at a dog rescue facility as punishment, leaving Chris less than thrilled. Hazel Grant owns Rescue Granted, a canine rehabilitation shelter. She loves taking in new cases and finding them their forever home. Rehabilitating Chris Lalonde was not what she had in mind, however. Still, the publicity could help her business thrive, and she could use the good press if she is going to stay afloat. As she gets to know Chris, Hazel finds there's more to him than just a self-centered jock, but when they start to mix business with pleasure, will they become rehabilitated or flounder?
