Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns

Ten years after her uncouth exit from Runway magazine, Andy Sachs is back. Some things have changed—Emily is now her best friend—but so many things are just the same. New York is still full of beautiful overachievers wearing over-the-top fashions. As Emily and Andy embark on a joint business venture, Andy meets Mr. Right, and her old nemesis Miranda Priestly reappears on the scene. Will Andy be able to keep her life on track amid the oncoming storm of the devil herself? Sure to delight fans of the original, this follow-up offers characters, drama, and indulgent lifestyles to rival the original, but the contest ends there. While not quite as good as the first book, this work is still a great beach read. Megan Hilty creates a cast of characters that are well differentiated and classy or shameless, as appropriate.
