Seducing the Bachelor

Set in contemporary small-town Montana, this romance begins with a charity bachelor auction, with those up for bid the members of one of the town's best football teams from nearly a decade ago. Now they've stepped up to do this insane thing for their old coach. Colt Ewing is there for a different reason, though. He's near the end of his second deployment as a U.S. Army Ranger, and his commander told him to take his full leave and deal with the emotional baggage he's carrying around. All he expects to find is the broken-down ranch left to him by his abusive, alcoholic uncle. Instead, he finds Talon Reese, waitress and veterinary student; her young son, Parker; and a whole different view of his past. As he slowly falls for the woman, the boy, and the life he might have, Colt wonders if he can bring himself back enough from the horrors of war to be the man Talon deserves. Talon just wants Colt, any way that she can have him.
