After a car accident that killed her fiancé and almost took her life, Cassidy Morgan started working from home as an accountant to better manage her recovery. The sound of a breaking window draws her to the door where her neighbor’s dog is waiting for her. She follows the dog back to its house where she discovers her neighbor collapsed on the floor. When she wakes him up, he won’t let her call an ambulance but doesn’t tell her it’s because he’s in hiding. U.S. Secret Service K-9 Officer Markus York was attacked at his home but survived. Now he and his partner, Ghost, are staying low while he recovers and his team hunts the person who stabbed him and murdered another officer.
