Something in the Walls

Newly minted psychologist Mina Ellis should be focused on her upcoming wedding to fiancé Oscar, but a heatwave, memories of her deceased brother, and a strange image from a vacation photo in Crete preoccupy her. Adding to her stress, Mina has been unable to get any hands-on experience in her field. At a local grief support group, she meets reporter Sam Hunter. A few days later, Sam presents Mina with an idea. In the small Cornish town of Banathel is 13-year-old Alice Webber, who believes she’s possessed by a witch. As Alice’s behavior grows more erratic, her family is desperate for help. Though Oscar is against it, Mina wants to take Alice’s case as a chance to gain experience, while Sam would benefit by scooping a sensational story. As Alice’s disturbing actions escalate, Mina’s investigation takes her out of the Webber home and into Banathel’s dark history of superstitions and witchcraft. Convinced that the town holds the key to Alice’s troubles, Mina searches for answers, unaware that her own past may be just as dangerous as anything she uncovers in Banathel.
