VERDICT Filled with mystery, suspense, love, and tragedy, this novel from Cole (The Strongest Steel) is hard to put down. Between the sexual tension and the eventual sexual explosions, the story has its fill of steamy scenes. Sometimes the mystery takes a backseat to the romance, but those personal elements help draw the reader further into the story.
