Allain (Miss Latimore’s Letter) presents a compelling, character-driven historical romance. The intimacy level is kissing-only, but there is no shortage of chemistry. Narrator Elizabeth Knowelden gives an expressive performance of the upbeat, engaging story. Her winsome portrayal of the witty women and their escapades yields an enchanting listening experience.
