Seven excellent short stories and a novella are given a wonderful reading by Dion Graham, but some of the production choices make for a frustrating listen despite exceptional narration. No contents are listed on the packaging or discs, no track listings or titles appear on the packaging, and no titles beyond the collection title appear to the listener playing it on a computer or MP3 player. Titles and page numbers can be found on the contents page on Amazon for those willing to track them down. Track listings would make a world of difference for those interested in finding particular stories or keeping track of what's playing.
VERDICT This collection of terrific stories is recommended with sincere reservations for adult audio collections. ["The best pieces in this collection do linger in memory ("Miss Mary's Room"), but many readers will view this title as a stopgap until the author's next full-length novel.
