Quinn, in her first novel, does a fantastic job of pulling the listener in and exploring the effects that a traumatic childhood can have on a person in their adult life. Cassandra Campbell narrates the story, bouncing from Fiona's childish voice to the adult Nora.
VERDICT Recommended for psychological thriller fans, but librarians will want to know that this book may contain triggers for those with trauma in their pasts.
