The Perfect Rom-Com

Aspiring writer Bryony has two dreams—to get published and to save the nonprofit where she teaches ESL classes to immigrants and refugees. She’s penned a book about the history of the organization and hopes that by selling it she can raise the money to keep the center afloat. Notoriously difficult literary agent Jack presents her with an unexpected opportunity to ghostwrite for a big-name rom-com author. Bryony agrees, under the condition that Jack will also take on her own book. Over time, their professional relationship blossoms into a close friendship, but Bryony becomes increasingly frustrated writing for someone else while her own novel remains unpublished and the threat to her beloved community center looms ever closer. When Bryony attends a promotional tour for the obnoxious author she ghostwrites for, Jack tags along, and their bond turns from platonic to romantic. However, Jack has been harboring secrets that jeopardize their newfound relationship and Bryony’s dreams.
