The Royals Upstairs

When his employers decide to settle on a secluded island, royal bodyguard James Hunter knows he wants more excitement in life and looks for a new job. He is quickly hired as the bodyguard for Princess Ella, married to Prince Magnus of Norway, and their children. Upon arrival, he’s faced with two surprises: the royal couple don’t live in the city but on an estate well outside of it, and their nanny is Laila Bruset, James’s former coworker who left after they fell into bed together, with disastrous results. Stuck on the isolated outskirts of Oslo, they both struggle to keep up a wall of indifference and soon redevelop a friendly rapport. When friendship again turns into more, Laila wonders if James has finally grown up and decides to risk her heart again for the gruff but kind man. James still isn’t sure he can handle his overwhelming feelings for Laila, but he also isn’t sure he can live without her.
