The Tides of Time

After months of helping people flee Revolutionary France, Lili Minet must make her own escape across the Channel or face a deadly tribunal. On the crossing, a storm washes her from the boat. Armitage Pierce, lighthouse keeper on England’s Loftstone Island, pulls her from the sea, and they are immediately distrustful of each other; Lili isn’t sure she can believe anyone in the baffling and unbelievable England she finds herself in. When she hears the legends surrounding the island’s connection to time travel, she begins to accept that she not only has left the shores of France but has landed 80 years into the future, and Armitage comes to the same conclusion. As they put together the pieces of Lili’s past and her blossoming future with Armitage, they find that she isn’t the only one who crossed the century. Someone is hunting Lili and is determined to drag her back to France and the clutches of history.
