The Vanishing

Teen best friends Catalina Lark and Olivia LeClair were witnesses to a murder in the caves of Fogg Lake, their hometown, but with no body to retrieve, the case was never solved. Fifteen years later, the young women, now using their extrasensory abilities to assist them in running a start-up private investigation agency in Seattle, believe the incident is in the past until Olivia gets kidnapped. All of the clues to her disappearance point to that fateful night so many years ago, and with an unlikely companion in Slater Arganbright, an investigator with the mysterious “Foundation,” Catalina is determined to find her friend before it is too late. As the pair track down leads, it becomes apparent that Catalina is also in danger, and they must trust in their extrasensory abilities and each other if they are going to get to the bottom of Olivia’s disappearance.
