Carla Carter, founder of the matchmaking service Logical Love, is only weeks away from her own wedding day, when she begins to have second thoughts after a hen party at a fortuneteller’s. Her fiancé Tom is wonderful, but a supposed family curse looms in her imagination. Determined to prove the fortuneteller wrong, she sets off on a trip to find her exes and convince herself that Tom really is the one. From Spain to Portugal to France, she tracks down loves from her past, including her ex-husband, just to be sure. The guys are perplexed and think she’s a bit wacky, and Tom, off at a gaming convention, doesn’t know what to think and wonders if he should step away. Will Carla realize he really is the one? Can a startling revelation from her past reset her thinking and get her back on track? Carla’s a bit of a ditz, but her family and friends are warm-hearted and supportive and keep the story on the right side of believability.
