He writes, for instance, about the island of Islay, known for its whiskey whose rich, peaty flavor is highly sought after worldwide. Naldrett’s brief but thorough discussions of each island make this a wonderful guide for traveling the British Isles, including some areas that are already quite popular for tourism.
