Asher Bennett thought his relationship with his long-term boyfriend, Clint, was just fine, until Clint dumps Asher in the ticket line at the Boston airport ahead of the worldwide travel competition reality show The Epic Trek. Asher is determined to quickly find a new partner for The Epic Trek and win the prize money. Enter Theo Fernandez, a smooth-talking, workaholic airline pilot who has literally been grounded. As Theo struggles to embrace his new downtime, he stumbles upon the perfect opportunity to join with Asher and try to win the competition. Theo and Asher agree to fake-date for the cameras and split the cash prize if they win. But soon their attraction and feelings become very real, and they wonder if this temporary relationship can amount to something more.
