When Beth and Gwen propose a solution, the men must decide if their desire to live authentically is reason enough to rebel. Chris Devon and Will Watt give voice to the struggles of Bobby and James, two men in love in a world where showing that openly isn’t socially accepted, as they try to live in a way that’s true to themselves. The narration is sweet and witty and perfectly captures the novel’s emotion. Listeners will love being back in Alban’s world of glitz, glamour, and mischief as the characters work to build a family and a life in a society that wasn’t built for them.
