In the Woods. Viking. ISBN 978-0-670-03860-2. $24.95. This was the best mystery I’ve read in a long time and had me guessing until the very last page. The main detective of the murder case was a victim of crime 20 years ago and now the two crimes are intertwined—talk about conflict of interest!
