Book News: Doubleday Debuts Religious Publishing Group

Doubleday Broadway has launched the Doubleday Religious Publishing Group, a new division mating the Doubleday Religion and Waterbrook Multnomah divisions. Steve Cobb has been named the group’s president and publisher, with Kevin Tobin as VP and director of business operations. Trace Murphy is serving as editor-in-chief, and Andrew Corbin is senior editor. A casualty of the merge is Doubleday Religion publisher Bill Barry, who is leaving the company.
