Judah Hamer is the new Director, Rutherford Public Library, NJ. He most recently was Youth Services Librarian, Ilsley Public Library, Middlebury, VT. Martha Lazor, West Florida Public Library, Pensacola, has retired after 21 years of service. Her last position was Branch Manager, Tryon Branch Library. Valerie Maginnis will become Director, Boulder Public Library (BPL), CO, effective June 13. She currently is Director of Library and Cultural Services, Mission Viejo Library, CA. The other finalists for the position were Ann Kling, Assistant Deputy Director for Public Services, Buffalo and Erie County Public Library; Jennifer Miles, Acting Director, BPL; and Donna Walker, Manager of Neighborhood Libraries, Outreach Services, and Child and Family Library Services, Arapahoe Library District, Centennial, CO. David Nochimson has been named Branch Manager, Van Nest Library, New York Public Library, Bronx. He most recently was Interim Manager and previously worked at the Allerton and Tremont branches. Nadine Robson is retiring from Granville Public Library, OH, after 29 years of service. Catherine Roche is the new Director, Moore County Libraries, Carthage, NC. She most recently was part-time Librarian, Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, NC. At Lake Agassiz Regional Library (LARL), Moorhead, MN, Anne Fredine has been promoted to the new position of Assistant Regional Library Director. She has worked at LARL for 25 years, most recently as Moorhead Hub Supervisor. Liz Lynch, currently Moorhead Public Services Supervisor/Youth Services Co-Coordinator and Electronic Resources Librarian, will become Acting Moorhead Hub Supervisor. Drea Cook has been hired as Branch Librarian, Barnesville Library; she previously was Library Associate, Fargo Public Library, ND. Harry Roger Williams III is the new Library Director, Thomas Crane Public Library, Quincy, MA, following the retirement of Ann McLaughlin. He previously was Library Director, Brockton Public Library System, MA.
