As we count down to our Best Books issue in December, we thought we would highlight some of our 2022 picks, titles we still share with readers and suggest widely. The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna (Berkley) is a wonderfully warm, romantic, and cozy read this time of year. Opening its charming cover is an invitation to settle into a richly detailed story of magic, building a family, and falling in love.

It is busy days at LJ as we get ready to announce the Best Books of 2023 in our December issue. 

As we count down to our big reveal, we thought we would highlight some of our 2022 picks, titles we still treasure, share with readers, and suggest widely.
