Panelists Catherine Royalty - Acquisitions Manager, Los Angeles Public Library Catherine Royalty has worked for the Los Angeles Public Library since 2004. As Acquisitions Manager, Catherine oversees the ordering of print and A/V materials for LAPL’s 72 branches and Central Library, as well as assisting in the development of the library’s virtual collection. She is honored to work with LA’s vibrant local author community on a regular basis. Darcy Fray - Author, The Officially Unofficial Files of Dr. Gordon B. Gray Darcy Fray is a multifaceted artist/author born and bred in the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. She currently resides in Los Angeles where she is the Director of Creativity at iamthinker.com, a multi-disciplinary visual boutique specializing in photography, film & graphic design. The Officially Unofficial Files of Dr. Gordon B. Gray is her first novel. Allie McKinney - Lead Strategist, Indie Author Day Allie McKinney manages programs that support author-library relationships throughout the United States and abroad. In her role, she coordinates opportunities for libraries to make an impact on the indie writing community like Indie Author Day and SELF-e. Kiera Parrott - Reviews Director, Library Journal & School Library Journal Kiera Parrott is the reviews director for School Library Journal and Library Journal and a former children's librarian. Her favorite books are ones that make her cry—or snort—on public transportation. Moderator Porter Anderson - Editor-in-Chief, Publishing Perspective Porter Anderson (@Porter_Anderson) BA, MA, MFA, is a journalist, speaker and consultant specializing in book publishing.
