IDEAS FOR MARKETING MATERIAL DISPLAYS OUTSIDE LIBRARY:
TIPS FROM YOUR PEERS: Army MWR Library
“We do a lot of marketing outside of the library since a large portion of our population can be considered remote or deployed.”
“We are designing a wallpaper to go on the lockers in fitness centers, allowing soldiers working out to check out materials right then and there. Since we know that almost every soldier goes to the gym, this is a great place to advertise. The wallpaper highlights titles on exercise, military history, and leadership, and audiobooks and magazines, like Men’s Health. The inside of the locker door will give them the information they need on how to access the eContent and where to go for help. We will also train the gym staff to provide basic help.”
Recorded Books provides complimentary marketing materials for all of its digital services, including bookmarks, flyers, posters, stickers, user guides, videos, web banners, and more. Most materials also have a customizable version, which allows a library to add its logo and/or URL.
