Troy Thompson and Nicole Adams have known each other since they were kids. For the last six months or so they have been a little closer than that while letting their friends and family assume that nothing has changed. Troy thinks he's got a good thing going with his old friend, but when Nicole announces that their "private" get-togethers are now a thing of the past, Troy has a hard time believing it. She is ready to settle down and give up the partying in exchange for a committed and responsible husband who wants to start a family. As Nicole attempts to date, she just can't seem to find a guy who can get her excited about anything much less a future together, and then there's Troy showing up everywhere. Troy challenges Nicole to give him a chance to prove that he's the one she's been looking for and that he can be everything she wants in her future.
VERDICT In the final installment of the "Thompson & Sons" series, Arend (Let It Ride) delivers another steamy love story wrapped up in believable and engaging characters struggling with real-life problems and situations. The series doesn't need to be read in order, so if readers enjoy A Wild Ride, they'll want to go back and meet the rest of those at Thompson and Sons.
