VERDICT Flockton (Christmas in Ghost Gum Springs) does an excellent job exploring the aftermath of a heartbreaking accident but does not feature Ethan's canine partner as much as the series title would suggest. This story will appeal to readers who enjoy stories with a strong military service ethic.
