This program consists of recordings of six live performances of talks given by Thich, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk. The CDs include exercises, chanting, bells, chimes, and pauses to allow listeners to meditate and concentrate on breathing. The author narrates in a soft-spoken voice, and his accent at times makes him difficult to understand. The pace of the narration is leisurely; he speaks very slowly and deliberately. The talks are taken from several of his published books (over 100). Thich is a peace activist, and his political agenda is clearly stated. Recommended for a specialized audience and followers of Thich and his teachings. Not recommended for most libraries.—Ilka Gordon, Siegal Coll. of Judaic Studies Lib., Cleveland
