The two catch up while Devlin spends some time with his niece. Elaine is in the midst of a case and decides she could use Devlin’s help while he’s visiting. Working side by side, they soon begin to realize their mutual attraction.
VERDICT Deceit, danger, and adventure are all abundant in Lee’s (Conard County: Murderous Intent) latest. Readers need not have previous knowledge of this lengthy series; Lee does an excellent job of making the stories stand-alone reads.
